Frequently Asked Questions
Most frequent questions and answers
Why a Sauna Tent?
Yes! Our sauna tent reaches the same temperatures as a wood sauna or trailer (often 170–200°F). With proper ventilation and wood burning sauna stoves, you get the full authentic heat and steam experience.
Flexibility, privacy and affordability. A tent can pop up anywhere—festivals, marinas, parks, or even your backyard. We can set it up in areas that maximize your view and your privacy. It allows us to bring sauna to more places than a heavy trailer ever could. Our rental prices make sauna more accessible!
Not at all! The cold plunge is an optional add on! However, alternating between hot and cold can enhance recovery, boost circulation, and leave you feeling incredibly refreshed.
Our sauna tents comfortably seat up to 6 people at a time, depending on how cozy you want to get.
Most people enjoy 10–15 minutes per round, followed by a cool-down or plunge. You can repeat the cycle as many times as you’d like during your session.
Absolutely. We’ll walk you through how to use the sauna safely and comfortably. Listen to your body — if you feel lightheaded or uncomfortable, step out and cool down.
The rental agreement expressly prohibits anyone under the age of 18 from using the sauna.
Absolutely. We use guarded stoves, reinforced benches, ventilation, and safety signage. The design makes it just as safe as a permanent sauna while still being portable.
Yes. Saunas come in many forms—cabins, trailers, yurts, and tents. In fact, nomadic cultures in Northern Europe used tents as their first saunas. You’re experiencing sauna in one of its most traditional, authentic forms.
Health & Safety
Yes. People with unstable heart conditions, uncontrolled high blood pressure, or certain other medical issues should check with their doctor before using a sauna.
It’s best to avoid high-heat environments during pregnancy unless approved by your healthcare provider.
Sauna heat increases blood flow, reduces inflammation, and helps flush out metabolic waste, while the cold plunge can reduce swelling and muscle soreness. Together, they support faster recovery.
